Samsung's home country of South Korea, which has strongly benefited from the success of the tech giant, is making some tech innovations of its own, investing £900m in 5G technology. 5G technology is said to be 1000 times faster than our current 4G technology. 5G could also increase the mobile capacity by 25 times between 2014 and 2030. The test deadline is set for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
