Swatt Miers Architects as built three tea houses under a grove of Californian Live Oaks as a perfect, and easy, retreat into nature. The three buildings each serve a different purpose, one for meditation, one for sleeping and one for “creative thinking.” They are all built using glass and transparent steel, making them entirely see-through. The structures have been perfectly located to minimize their footprint on land and to preserve the delicate oak roots.
