Transportable Steel Minimod

Portuguese architects, MAPA, have design what they dub the Minimod. The Minimod is a small, trailer like, structure that has currently been transported to the Brazilian countryside of Porto Alegre, it is a prototype for what could become any number of things. From homes to home add-on's, even pop up shops or hotels, the Minimod has an array of possibilities. The structure is made of steel and wood, features floor to ceiling windows with huge shutter blinds, allowing you to become part of the landscape one moment and enjoy your privacy the next. The structure is broken up into four key living spaces, a bedroom - with an in wall TV option - the dining room, bathroom and a living room. The Minimod is unique not just because of its minimalist style but also because it can be transported as a solid piece or as multiple pieces.
