The Bigger Means Better iPhone 6

Yesterday afternoon, Apple announced its newest iPhone. With all the speculation surrounding the latest addition to Apple's premium series and the steady stream of new tech that has been flowing this past year expectations were high and Apple did not disappoint.....they really captured the SIZE of the expectations.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

Apple, once again, flopped. The iPhone 6 is bigger but certainly not better. It features a 5.5 inch screen to Samsungs 5.1 with the Galaxy S5 and HTC's 5 inch One M8. That's really the only good part, if you prefer size.

The pixels per inch are lower, it weights more, the chipset is okay, the storage is the same, the camera is dated and the price is still as high as the better smartphones. To sum it up its apparently 2012 as so many made clear on social media today.

It features only 401 ppi against Samsungs 432 ppi or HTC's 441 ppi and the iPhone 6 has the same 1920 x 1080 resolution has the other two competitive devices. It even weights in considerably higher 6.07 oz, which many argued was due to the aluminum body....except the HTC One M8 also features an aluminum body.

Probably the more shocking feature of the iPhone 6 is that it still only features an 8MP camera, while other have 13MP and 16MP. The competitors have literally doubled the megapixels.

The sad part is that the Nexus 4, a device made in 2012 by LG and Google, has better specs that the iPhone 6, a device made to lead apple into 2015.

The new iPhone 6 does feature iOS 8, and Apple's A8 processor (rivaling the Snapdragon 801). It was also announced along Apple's new smartwatch, which features a generic square design, but we will save that for another day.
