'Words By Rakim’ Short Film

The chronicles of the legendary Brooklyn emcee Rakim are shown by Matt Bieler in his new short film documentary, Words by Rakim. The film is artistically done in black and white with re-worked music by Rakim himself. The film was “inspired by the vinyls that birthed the art form and is a portrait of two sides of an artist.” The film gives you a look at some rare backstage footage and some performances; definitely a great watch.
